What brands do you use?

I use a wide range of products from many different brands that work with different skin types and various looks. Only high quality and high performing products are in my kit to ensure your makeup is flawless on camera. All products are tested for performance prior to making it into my collection.

Will my makeup last all night?

Absolutely. A true professional makeup application will last the full duration of your event. Not only are the eyes and skin prepared with the proper skin care and priming products, but you will be set and finished with professional powders and sprays that seal in and help fix the makeup in place. Absolutely! I am professionally trained and carry a wide range products in my makeup kit in order to service every skin tone. Inclusivity is very important to me.

Are you able to cover blemishes/skin issues?

The simple answer is yes. However, blemishes are often raised skin, and raised skin texture can still be noticeable even with coverage. We can take out the redness and discoloration, but we can’t really “flatten” or change the texture of the skin.

Why is the bride more expensive than everyone else?

With weddings there is a lot of behind the scenes logistics, administrative functions and increased communication needs. Also wedding day makeup is provided on-location so a travel fee for 20 miles is built into the service. The higher price for the bride covers these extras. Also the bride receives a touch up kit with a sample size of powder and lipstick used as well as a lot of other goodies.

What if I just want you to service my bridesmaids. Do I still have to pay the higher bridal rate?

Yes. Your party will still be charged for one person at the higher fee for the same reasons listed above.

\How Long Do Makeup Trials Take?

Makeup trials are a personalized consultation and typically take 60-90 minutes. We are customizing your entire look.

How many looks do I get in a trial?

A preview usually consists of trying one desired look or style and a variation of that look. If a completely different style/look is desired beyond that, I suggest booking another trial. I do not require a trial for a booking, but do strongly recommend them to you.

When do you recommend getting a trial done?

Trials can be done either before or after finalizing a booking. We do like to book out as far as possible and then often a second trial closer to your wedding date in case you want to make any last-minute changes.

What is the purpose of a trial? Is it required?

The purpose of the trial is for you, the bride, to meet me and find a look that you love for your wedding day. Even if you haven’t nailed down your look, it's a good time to discuss looks and styles you like and do not like.

Can I do a makeup trial before booking?

Absolutely! If you prefer to do a makeup trial before booking, we suggest coming in as soon as you’re ready to select an artist for your wedding, especially since we do not hold dates without a signed contract.

What should I bring to my trial?

-Come with clean, dry face. It's best to start with a fresh canvas!

-Exfoliate and dermaplane the night before. This will make a huge difference on how your makeup applies

-Bring inspiration photos

-Bring a photo of yourself wearing your normal everyday makeup.

Can I bring a friend to my trial?

Yes you can bring one friend if you wish. We kindly ask you not to bring more than one due to space limitations.

Can I bring my child with me to my trial?

While we love kids, they can be distracting during the limited time we have together. We ask that you enjoy this time for yourself and find a sitter for your precious little ones.

What do I do if I need to change any details (location, time, number of people) for my wedding?

Let me know as soon as possible if you need to make any changes. I try my hardest to accommodate but if details change close to the wedding date I can’t always guarantee flexibility with my schedule. If any decrease in the number of services are made within 90 days of the wedding date the full Invoiced/contracted total will still be due.

Who do I call on the day of for any last minute issues?

You can reach me, Jessica, at 360-947-7263

How long does it take per person for makeup on the wedding day?

Bridal makeup is scheduled for 90 minutes, bridesmaid are scheduled for 45 minutes (for more complex/glam looks it may be 60+ minutes). Looks requiring more than the scheduled time will be an additional fee. I also require 15 minutes before and after services for set up and clean up. As well as 3-5 minutes in between each person for sanitation.

Is there anything I need the day of the wedding?

On the wedding day, I will bring everything needed to service you and your bridal party at your location. The only thing I need is access to an electrical outlet space for a large table and chair (lighting will be brought but setting up in front of a large window/natural light if possible is best).

Should I make a schedule for my group for the day of the wedding?

If you wish, though this is a complimentary service I can provide. If your crowd needs wrangling a schedule is highly recommended to help stay on track.

How should my bridal party and I prepare for the day of?

What should I have with me throughout the wedding day for touch- ups?
